Your Visit

I understand that taking the step to access counselling can feel significant, so I aim to make the practical side of your visit as easy and comfortable as I can.
Whether you are attending for your first session or returning for ongoing support, the space is somewhere you can take a moment, settle in and feel at ease.

Your comfort matters throughout the year.
During the colder months, the room is kept warm with heating and an electric fire, and tea and coffee are available should you fancy a warm drink. In the summer, air conditioning helps keep the room cool, with cold drinks also available.

A comfortable environment can make all the difference. My aim is to provide a space where you can feel safe, relaxed and able to focus on what matters to you.
Please note that, as the counselling room is located in a separate garden room, bathroom facilities are not available on-site.

Accessibility

At my counselling practice, I want you to feel comfortable, welcome and supported from the moment you arrive.
The space has been thoughtfully arranged to provide a calm and accessible environment, with wheelchair-friendly access via the back garden and ample parking on a private road just feet away from the counselling room to make attending sessions as straightforward as possible.
We simply ask that you are considerate of our neighbours and ensure that all driveways remain clear and accessible.

‘Accessibility isn’t actually accessible if the person requesting it is made to feel they should be apologetic for doing so.’
